Amanda Wiechens, DC, is a chiropractor at The Athletes Clinic in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was born and raised in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri, and was a competitive soccer player from age three until she played collegiate soccer. She also competed in track and field, swimming, and softball.
In undergrad, Amanda earned a bachelor's degree in biology while being a full-time athlete. After undergrad in December of 2015, she attended Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri, where she graduated with her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Masters in Sports and Rehabilitation in April 2019.
Amanda and her fiance Kevin moved to Charlotte in the winter of 2018 to precept and start their lives together. They found passion in treating athletes of all ages and abilities, from elite CrossFit athletes to weekend warriors. They believe that everyone is an athlete and should be treated as such. That is why they focus on functional movements and rehabilitation, to help patients get back to living daily life with the most purpose and without pain.
In her free time, Amanda likes to continue to play recreational soccer, train at The Grit Haus (their CrossFit gym), and hang out with her two pups, Doc and Ralph.
